EMeRG is a proud member of the National Collegiate EMS Foundation ("NCEMSF"), and winner of its prestigious "Striving for Excellence in Campus EMS" gold-standard award.

The Emergency Medical Response Group is a volunteer-based, student organization, committed to providing excellence in 24/7 emergency medical services to members of The George Washington University community. All EMeRG members have achieved the level of EMT-Basic or higher and are licensed care providers in the District of Columbia. Created in 1994, and first operational in 1996, EMeRG continues to grow and rely on the passion of its members for emergency medicine, health care and commitment to serve the Foggy Bottom and The George Washington University communities. & First Aid Certification
