EMeRG Participates At The GW Safety Expo & Fire Prevention Week Kick-Off

EMeRG participated in the kick-off event for GW’s Safety Expo and DC’s Fire Prevention week. EMeRG members offered free blood pressure screenings and gave CPR demonstrations throughout the day, in addition to answering questions about our service and providing information on CPR classes. The event included representatives from the University’s Office of Risk Management, Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, and the University Police Department, as well as DCFEMS, D.C. Department of Health, Metropolitan Police Department, D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, and the American Red Cross.
